Flipagram

Flipagram was a popular mobile app launched in 2013 that allowed users to create short video slideshows by combining photos, videos, and music. It quickly gained traction, reaching the top of app store charts in over 80 countries and attracting millions of users worldwide.

In 2017, Flipagram was acquired by the Chinese tech company ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok. Following the acquisition, Flipagram was rebranded as Vigo Video, shifting its focus towards short-form video content similar to TikTok. However, Vigo Video struggled to maintain its user base and was eventually discontinued in 2020.
